We are looking for a Key Account Manager for the south of Sweden. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing account plans for your assigned Key Accounts and for developing sales within these accounts in accordance with the BI Equine Nordic strategy.

A key part of your job will be meeting with veterinarians and other stakeholders in the equine industry in Sweden and building strong relationships with them to understand how you and BI can create value for them. Educating both equine vets and horse owners on disease areas that the BI Equine product portfolio treats is an essential part of the job.

You will be working from your home and occasionally from our office in Copenhagen with frequent travel to veterinarians in the south of Sweden and some travel within the other Nordic countries while reporting directly to the Head of Equine.

The desired start date is beginning of October.

Further responsibilities:

  • Be the first point of contact for our key equine veterinary accounts and build key account plans, keeping it up to date on an ongoing basis and sharing its content with all team members and management as applicable
  • Be responsible for developing account plans for your assigned Key Accounts and for developing sales within these accounts in accordance with the BI Equine Nordic strategy. Implement and execute effective sales and services strategies to ensure positive sales development
  • Develop an extensive knowledge base of all assigned strategic/key accounts.

About you:

  • You see yourself as likeable, analytical, professional, and self-propelled with the ability to influence others
  • You take ownership of your accounts and projects and enjoy being part of a strong diverse team where everyone contributes to the success of the team
  • You thrive with the flexibility of working out of your home and managing your own schedule, being on the road and enjoy travelling for internal team meetings se well as external meetings and conferences
  • Ideally, you live in Southern Sweden as you will be covering the entire district south Sweden.

What you should bring to the team:

  • In depth knowledge of the equine veterinary industry in Sweden
  • Previous Experience of working as an Equine Vet
  • Dedication to support and visit our customers
  • Excellent command of Swedish and English
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for both internal and external communications.
  • Analytical and results oriented mindset
