AniCura provides high quality veterinary care to 1,5 million patients in 150 different locations across Europe. In addition, AniCura arranges a number of medical courses each year with veterinary surgeons and nurses from AniCura clinics, as well as external participants. Continuing education and specialisation are important focus areas to further develop AniCura’s quality offering. AniCura is now at a stage of its development where we want to scale up our educational offering, both in terms of number of courses offered, as well as the professionalism surrounding the courses. Moreover, AniCura has ambitious plans in other areas of medical development, like quality (e.g., QualiCura) and knowledge sharing (e.g., Interest groups).
AniCura now seeks an outstanding individual to join the team as
Medical Development Coordinator to help accelerate these efforts further.
Main responsibilities
- Together with the Education and Knowledge Sharing Manager ensure that AniCura’s medical course offering meets the demands from clinics and co-workers in terms of quality, frequency and cost
- Find and negotiate agreements with good conference venues for courses
- Negotiate sponsoring arrangements with suppliers when relevant
- Maintain an up-to-date curriculum on AniCura’s Intranet and external course website
- Design appealing course invitational and marketing material to market the courses
- Administer registration, planning and preparations for individual courses
- Manage course feedback processes
- Support AniCura’s Medical interest groups with arranging high impact meetings and events
- Support AniCura’s medical interest groups with communication and knowledge sharing on AniCura’s collaborative platforms (Intranet, Knowledge base, discussion forums, etc.)
Your profile
- At least 5 years work experience
- University level education preferable or similar experience
- Full proficiency of English as well as one, or preferably two of either a Nordic language, German and/or Dutch
- Excellent written communication skills and an interest for marketing and graphical design
- High comfort level with using/learning computer software, such as Microsoft Office, as well as web-publishing software as e.g., EPI-server etc.
- An independent self-starter with a high level of inner drive and positivism
- A structured doer with a track record of delivering against multiple parallel deadlines
- Flexibility and humility – a team player proactively seeking and acting on constructive feedback
- Experience from the veterinary care sector is a plus but not a requirement. Other relevant roles/backgrounds could be from education companies, human healthcare, human resources, personal assistant etc.
The role reports to AniCura’s Group Care Services Director and is full-time. Job location is Stockholm. The role requires occasional travel to different locations in countries in which AniCura operates.
